This great clip of Elton John and band doing “Bennie And The Jets” is from the 1976 “Louder Than a Concorde But Not Quite as Pretty” tour. Elton is behind a grand piano, withe a big old band backing him up – including three back up singers. One of whom is wearing a Hawaiian shirt, which we should see more of in rock and roll. This version gets pretty jamtastic as it progresses. They definitely put the song through its paces. Watch and see.
